I mad the mistake of getting my son Jimmy a lovely Lego advent calendar. You get a few lego bits in it every day that eventually make up a scene by Christmas. 6.30 - he got me up this morning to open it Blink . It's only 8 o'clock now and we are about to put the tree up - lovely Laugh .

Hi Julie, Ahhhh!! the memories of young children!!! Mine are way past that now, miss the advent calendars etc. We are putting our tree up next week end, its a tradition, when my daughters friend was little we used to say "after Tammy's birthday" which is on the 12 Dec, so she could celenrate first, Still do it now, even though she has 2 girls of her own!!! Hi Julie,

I make one every year and every year our youngest two open the flap and run into my bedroom telling me what they have to do today.

I sent Melly a photo of it although it must have looked terrible on my phone! LOL

Oh I love Advent, so special, all the preparing and waiting. We've just begun the massive task of drawing and colouring our Christmas cards today. Three done so far, yikes!

Have fun legoing- lego literally saved my life when Ben was four, as soon as he discovered Lego that was IT! They have all loved it and the younger three still construct and play with it often..

Love,
Amanda

I have a large box of baby lego and normal lego waiting up in the loft for the arrival hopefully one day of a grandchild. It never goes out of fashion.

I've got some in the loft too!
Though I'll probably have to wait longer than you!

Lego overflows from my wardrobe, my granddaughters love it, it can be made to make furniture etc for their dolls houses, keeps them amused for ever!
I've never heard of a Lego calendar-bet that IS fun!

Wrapped my pressies today HOORAY!
YES I'VE CHANGED, PAIN DOES THAT TO PEOPLE.
